Deal marks
What is a deal mark?
A deal mark is a record of a deal that both parties have confirmed. It isn’t a contract template or a rating. It shows that both parties confirmed the same record of the deal, and when they did.
When does a record count?
A record counts as confirmed only when both parties confirm it. If the other side doesn’t respond, the record says so, and silence is never treated as agreement.
What’s in a deal mark
- Deal details
- The description both parties agreed to.
- Times
- When the deal mark was created and when each party confirmed it.
- Mark ID
- For example, R-2610-8Q4K. Share it with anyone you want to show the deal to.
Can it be changed?
Each record gets an independent timestamp, so anyone who checks it can see whether it has changed since. Questions about a record? Email support@osmarks.com.
